ENHANCE THE FUTURE SCHOLARSHIP (DISTRICT 102)
Mission Statement
The Enhance the Future Scholarships are to provide a stimulus for those students
with the most need of encouragement to continue their education beyond high
school. Financial need is not the only criteria. The North Pekin Marquette
Heights School District #102 Board of Education will be the governing body of
the scholarship program. The scholarship funds will be deposited within the
Pekin Area Foundation for Educational Excellence (PAFEE).
Qualifications
The applicants must be graduates from the current graduating class of Pekin
Community High School. Six years of their kindergarten through eighth-grade
schooling must have been completed in the District # 102 school system. Their
grade point average at graduation must be 2.0 or higher. In order to receive the
scholarship the graduate must have been accepted at an accredited college or
junior college. An application must be completed to be on the list of possible
recipients.
